AMD’s FSR 4 leak lets old GPUs join the party
RDNA 2, RDNA 3 see visual boost
AMD has managed to shoot itself in the foot again, this time by accidentally releasing the full source code for FSR 4. The shiny new upscaler was supposed to be a Radeon RX 9000 exclusive, but thanks to the blunder, it is now sneaking its way onto older GPUs.
AMD officially announces Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics cards
Priced at $499 and $449, and coming on September 6th
AMD has officially unveiled the new performance-segment Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics cards at its special AMD Highlight Show at Gamescom 2023. With prices set at $499 for the Radeon RX 7800 XT and $449 for the Radeon RX 7700 XT, both graphics cards will be available as of September 6th, the same day when Bethesda's Starfield officially launches on PC.
AMD FSR 3 and HYPR-RX coming next year
Coming to Unreal Engine 5
During its "together we advance_gaming" RDNA 3 event in Las Vegas, AMD also unveiled its AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, as well as the new HYPR-RX single-click feature, both coming in 2023.
