Netgear has expanded their Arlo line of cameras this week at CES introducing their upcoming solution for monitoring children.  The upcoming Arlo Baby Smart HD Monitoring Camera (ABC1000) has introduced this week at CES in Las Vegas and features a cute, nursery and family friendly design.  Arlo Baby features a baby-monitoring 1080p HD video camera, music player, ambient  sensors  for  monitoring  air quality, temperature and humidity, as well as a built-in multi-colored night light.

The Arlo Baby features a built in camera provides crystal-clear 1080p HD video, day and night, from  anywhere through the Arlo application.  Integrated into the camera like other products in the Arlo family is a built-in rechargeable battery, allowing users of the Arlo Baby camera to go untethered, allowing parents to move the camera around the house when needed.  Advanced Night Vision with near invisible infrared LED lights automatically switch on to let you see how your baby is sleeping from the mobile app even in total darkness. Two-way Audio will allow parents to listen in and talk to your babystraight from your smart phonefrom anywhere, even when away from home.  One great feature is the integrated music player which can be used with a collection of built-in lullabies or from a large selection available in the free cloud-based Arlo music library.  A unique design by Netgear gives users the ability to change the Arlo Baby's appearance.  The camera can be turned into into adorable characters such as a bunny, a cat,or a puppy to be afriendly addition to your nursery.

Netgear has integrated a smart analytics platform to provide real-time, customizable alerts when motion or sound is detected.  One feature unique Arlo Baby (and not the rest of the Arlo camera family) is the ability to tell you if the detected sound is your baby’s crying.

A seperate 7-inch LCD touchscreen display is an optional accessory to the Arlo Baby to provide parents with a better, uninterrupted monitoring experience, but also allows them to use Arlo Baby without any dependency on the home WiFi network. An example is that the display and camera canv be used whenvvisiting with relatives or friends without the need to connect to a wireless network for internet access.

The Arlo Baby Smart HD Monitoring Camera (ABC1000) will be available in early Q2 from major retailers, at a price of $249.99. A package combo of the Arlo Baby Smart HD Monitoring Camera with 7” LCD Screen Display (ABC1000S) will be available in Q2 from major retailers, at a price of $349.99.  Accessories for the Arlo Baby will be sold separately include: Arlo  Baby Stand ($34.99), and Characters Designs ($19.99).
