Xoom LTE upgrade is a factory thing

Will take 6 business days, in most cases
Apparently, according to what this leaked document says, after the Xoom is released on February 24, owners will be able to get the XOOM upgraded to support LTE in about 90 days. While the upgrade will be free, owners will have to ship the Xoom back to the factory to have the upgrade performed. It is being projected that in most cases the upgrade will take about six business days.
Motorola will apparently begin offering the free upgrade for six months from the release date. Customers must take action and send the unit in for upgrade. While customers will be notified, the upgrade isn’t mandatory; but who would not want the speeds offered by LTE?
