PopCap could go public this year

Will at least examine the possibility
The company has apparently been waiting for the right time to launch an IPO and go public. The company apparently doesn’t have any investors that are pushing the company to go public, but at the same time it could be a big payoff for those at the company should the company go public.
PopCap employs over 400 people and generated over $100 million in revenue this year alone; and the company is said to have sold over 50 million units to date. The company has been home to a number of successful casual gaming titles, including Plants vs. Zombies and the Bejeweled franchise, which is available for just about every recent platform on the planet and has just released its third game in the franchise.
The news that Roberts is looking at an IPO might not really come as much of a surprise, as the company appointed Steve Raymund, a specialist launching such moves.
