A while back we told you about the phishing scams with those sites and parties claiming to be able to get you access to Halo 4 beta invites. These domains and sites claiming such were nothing more than phishing attempts to gain your personal information.

The situation has not gone unnoticed at Microsoft. We have learned that Microsoft is taking action and has files a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum in order to get the domain transferred to Microsoft and put an end to the scams.

While it will take time for Microsoft to ultimately gain control of these domains and put an end to this, it is important to continue to get the word out that these are fakes and nothing more than attempts at phishing for your data. In the meantime, it is important that you are aware that these sites are bogus, and also help spread the word that this is the case.
