Counter-Strike fans waiting for the new Counter-Strike Global Offensive will have to wait a little longer, as sources indicate that the game has slipped from a spring release to now being a summer release.

Apparently, Valve needs more time to finish the game to get it the way they want it prior to release. It will still be coming out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac platforms when it is released.

The news was apparently confirmed by Doug Lombardi speaking to Stephen Totilo at Kotaku.
