Sony has confirmed that the PlayStaton 4 only racer, Driveclub that was originally scheduled for release when the console shipped in North America, will now miss the Japanese PS4 launch as well. Rumors suggest that the original decision to delay the game was made in the interest of delivering a quality title and Driveclub just still isn’t ready just yet.

While Sony is asking for patience from PS4 owners who want to see the game released, the company can’t seem to contain their excitement about the Evolution developed next-generation racer. Sony has commented that they are “really excited” about how Driveclub is progressing.

As to when we might actually finally see Driveclub get released, Sony is expecting to announce the game’s release date very soon. Despite the setbacks that this title has experienced, we suspect that an early Spring launch is likely for the PS4 racer.
