Fudzilla tried them twice and they worked fine but apparently they are seeing something we can't. It looks like they want the controllers to do a bit more and they need more time.
Oculus Rift VR sells in Q1 2016
More important for us is that Oculus VR will ship without the controllers. The company is insisting that the Rift is still on schedule for Q1 2016 release, with pre orders very soon.
The Touch hardware has made significant advances in ergonomics and it looks like that the company is chasing out the standards set by HTC / Valve with Re Vive controller. The last minute changes to the Touch hardware should make Touch even more comfortable, reliable, and natural. Oculus is implementing changes that improve hand pose recognition.
VR glasses won't be cheap
After years of prototyping and early editions the hardware is almost ready. The price of the VR glasses and the controllers will play a big role in popularising this technology.
Neither Oculus by Facebook or HTC / Valve Re Vive doesn’t want to reveal the price might indicate that they going for a rather high price.
To run Oculus at acceptable rate, users need a $ / € 1000 PC with a Geforce GTX 970 or AMD 290, Intel i5-4590, and 8GB RAM. Judging from that spec the VR glasses won't be cheap.
