Based on what appears to be a standard reference design, the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Turbo OC 8G graphics card will use a blower-style cooler which Gigabyte calls the Gigabyte turbo fan cooling system, which basically uses a blower fan combined with three direct-touch heatpipes and a large heatsink in order to effectively cool the GPU.
Despite using a blower-style cooler, Gigabyte still included a decent factory-overclock, pushing the GPU to 1657MHz for the GPU base and 1797MHz for the GPU Boost clocks in OC mode and 1632MHZ base and 1772MHz GPU Boost clocks in Gaming mode. It still comes with 8GB of GDDR5X memory clocked at 10GHz and still needs a single 8-pin PCIe power connector.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not reveal any details regarding price or the availability date but the GTX 1080 Turbo OC 8G should be cheaper than the rest of the Gigabyte lineup, especially the Xtreme Gaming lineup.
