Originally reported by Cowcotland.com, and caught by Videocardz.com, the report states that AMD has declared the end of life for Radeon VII last month, and it should be around while the stock lasts.

AMD Radeon VII was a big surprise and even at launch, it was clear this was to be a limited edition card but we did not think it would be on the market for just five months.

In case you missed it, Radeon VII is based on 7nm Vega GPU with 3840 Stream Processors and featured 16GB of HBM2 memory.

By launching Navi-based GPUs, it is obvious that Vega is going the way of the dodo, and Radeon VII was not really been able to keep up with Nvidia's high-end offering. Even other Vega-based graphics cards have seen decent price reductions but simply do not offer enough performance per buck/power to counter the current lineup on the market.

Hopefully, AMD will fill out the gaps left by Vega soon enough but stores are now selling the Radeon VII at a premium as stock dwindles.
