Rumored to be announced in mid-July, the RTX 40 series will most likely start to launch in August. The latest rumor, coming from kopite7kimi on Twitter, suggests that Nvidia won't go the way of the Ampere, but rather launch the flagship product first.

Back with the RTX 30 series, Nvidia announced the entire lineup on the same date, including the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and the RTX 3070 series, but the RTX 3080 was the first card to launch, followed by the RTX 3090 and then the RTX 3070.
The RTX 40 series will apparently launch with the RTX 4090, followed by the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070.
Hopefully, we will hear more precise details as we draw closer to the announcement date.
