The Radeon RX 7600 with 16GB of VRAM and $329 price tag

AMD has officially announced the new Radeon RX 7600 XT, priced at $329. As rumored earlier, the Radeon RX 7600 XT will fill the big gap between the Radeon RX 7600 and the RX 7700 XT, and it is pretty much the Radeon RX 7600 but with 16GB of VRAM.

To be available on January 24th, the Radeon RX 7600 XT is based on the same Navi 33 GPU, which means it still features 32 Compute Units (CUs) as the Radeon RX 7600, leaving it with 2048 Stream Processors and 32MB of 2nd gen Infinity Cache. AMD pushed the GPU clocks up to 2.66GHz Game and 2.76GHz Boost and equipped it with 16GB of 18Gbps GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit interface. The TDP also got up from 165W to 190W.

In terms of performance, the Radeon RX 7600 XT should not be that far away from the RX 7600, except in memory-intensive games. AMD is still targeting 1080p and 1440p gaming, but, strangely, compares it to a bit old RTX 2060 6GB graphics card, rather than the RTX 4060.

As said, the Radeon RX 7600 XT is launching on January 24th with an MSRP of $329, and you can expect custom versions from the usual AMD AIB partners.
