Packing 8,960 CUDA cores and 300W TDP

Leaked specifications for Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti suggest the graphics card will feature more CUDA cores and a higher power draw than its predecessor, packing a total of 8,960 CUDA cores and a TDP of 300W.

The latest info comes from Kopite7kimi, via Videocardz, suggesting that the RTX 5070 Ti will be equipped with 8,960 CUDA cores and a total thermal design power (TDP) of 300W. Unfortunately, it is still too early for memory details. This means that the Geforce RTX 5070 Ti will have a TDP 15W higher than the RTX 4070 Ti, along with around 16 percent more CUDA cores. This also puts the RTX 5070 Ti at a 100W lower power compared to Nvidia’s rumored Geforce RTX 5080.

Performance-wise, the RTX 5070 Ti could end up on par with the RTX 4080 or even the RTX 4080 SUPER, all at a lower power draw. Earlier rumors also suggested that Nvidia could launch the new RTX 50 series at more affordable price points. Nvidia is expected to unveil the RTX 50 series at CES 2025 in January, with the RTX 5090 and the RTX 5080 as the first models to be unveiled.
