The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell on earth yarn claiming that the graphics chip maker named after a Roman pizza is opening a void within its mid-range offerings by killing off its GeForce RTX 2060,  2060 Super, GTX 1660, and 1660 Super graphics cards.

After an endless stream of rumors and leaks, Nvidia has now officially unveiled the Geforce RTX 2060 12GB graphics card, adding support for it in its latest Geforce drivers as well as listing it on its site.

A direct competitor to the RX 5600 XT at $299.99

Asus has unveiled its newest model of the Geforce RTX 2060 graphics card, the RTX 2060 Dual Mini, which will be a direct competitor to AMD's RX 5600 XT at $299.99, and come in two versions, with and without a factory overclock.

A lot of trouble for reviewers, AIBs, and consumers

AMD's Radeon RX 5600 XT has officially launched and is available with a suggested price of $279, and while it manages to beat Nvidia's RTX 2060, AMD made quite a mess for reviewers, its own AIB partners, as well as consumers, by changing the specifications just a few days after the launch, and it will have a big impact on the market.

Price drops in Europe down to €299

Although there is still no official price cut for the RTX 2060, the recent introduction of the EVGA RTX 2060 KO, has pushed other Nvidia AIC partners to lower the price down to $299.99, and the same thing is happening in Europe with the price dropping down to €299.

With $300 MSRP

While Nvidia is still officially waiting for the RX 5600 XT to launch, EVGA has launched a pre-emptive strike in the form of Geforce RTX 2060 KO, which will be available with an MSRP of $300, just $20 above the RX 5600 XT.

Gigabyte is preparing an all-white RTX 2060 graphics card which will be a part of its Gaming Pro series.

Cut-down RTX 2070 coming January 15th for $349

As expected, Nvidia has unveiled its latest member of the Geforce RTX series, the RTX 2060, which will be available on January 15th for $349.

3GB, 4GB, and 6GB versions with GDDR5(X) and GDDR6 memory

According to the latest leak, it appears that the Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 will be available in no less than six different versions, depending on the amount or the type of memory.

There were quite a few leaks regarding Nvidia's mid-range Turing-based graphics card that goes under the name of RTX 2060, and the recent one pretty much confirms it and marks the launch date for January with a possible announcement scheduled for CES 2019 show.
