The latest rumor coming from Chinese forums have revealed a possible announcement and availability date for AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU. The announcement could happen on October 25th, with availability in early November.

Leaker claims

Tom’s Hardware has noticed a leak from Codecommando which claims to have the inside trouser measurement of  AMD’s Ryzen 9000X3D processors.

Zen 5 based

The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell-on-earth yarn, claiming that AMD is building a budget X3D gaming CPU based on its latest Zen 5 architecture.

But only a single SKU

According to the latest rumor, AMD could launch its Ryzen 7 9800X3D SKU as early as November, with the announcement coming at the end of October. AMD is apparently rushing the launch to counter Intel's upcoming Core Ultra 200 Arrow Lake lineup.

While AMD and motherboard makers have yet to confirm the launch date of the new 800-series motherboards, Amazon has jumped the gun, showing that these motherboards will be released on September 30th. Earlier leak also puts the review embargo for the same date.

It appears that the upcoming AMD Ryzen 9000X3D series, based on the latest Zen 5 architecture and with 3D V-Cache, will launch at the CES 2025 show in January next year, rather than next month as earlier rumored.
