Earlier rumors have been already suggesting an October launch for AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and the latest one coming from Chiphell forums and spotted by Harukaze5719 over at Twitter, is the first one to have a precise date for both the announcement and the availability. Allegedly, the announcement is set for October 25th while it should be available on shelves in the first week of November, probably depending on the region.

There have been quite a few leaks concerning the Ryzen 9000X3D series, specifically the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, including Cinebench R23 scores, showing it anywhere from 20 to 30 percent faster compared to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Another leak also suggested that the Zen 5-based Ryzen 7 9800X3D boosts up to 5.2GHz for all cores, which is impressive.
The biggest leak by far was the recent one coming from MSI OCLab, which shows it is faster than Intel Arrow Lake, and anywhere between 11 to 13 percent faster in gaming compared to the previous Ryzen 7000X3D generation.
In any case, we are a few days from the rumored announcement and, hopefully, AMD Ryzen 9000X3D SKUs will live up to their expectations. It is still not clear when AMD plans to launch the rest of the Ryzen 9000X3D series SKUs, including the 6-core 9600X3D, or the rumored 12-core 9900X3D and the 16-core 9950X3D.
