We already wrote about the new Toshiba-branded OCZ RD400 PCIe NVMe SSD earlier when it was launched and the showcased TR150 series and VT180 series SDDs are not exactly new either but rather just Vector 180 and Trion 150 SSD re-branded with Toshiba-OCZ brand. Spotted by Techpowerup.com at Computex 2016 show, these should replace current OCZ-branded lineup in retail/e-tail.

To be still available in 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB capacities and SATA 6Gbps interface, the Toshiba-OCZ VT180 series offers sequential transfer performance of up to 550MB/s for read and up to 530MB/s for write with random 4K performance reaching 96K IOPS for read and 90K IOPS for write. As it was the case with the Vector 180, the VT180 SSD series is also based on Toshiba A19nm MLC NAND and OCZ's Barefoot 3 M00 controller. 

The Toshiba-OCZ TR150 is a value oriented SSD, with standard 2.5-inch form-factor and SATA 6Gbps interface, and will be available in the same 120GB to 960GB capacities, just like the earlier available Trion 150 SSD. It uses Toshiba TC58 controller and Toshiba 15nm TLC NAND and offers sequential performance reaching 550MB/s for read and up to 530MB/s for write. The random 4K performance is set at up to 90K IOPS for read and up to 64K IOPS for write, depending on the version.

Toshiba and OCZ were also keen to note that all SSDs will retain OCZ's well known Advanced Warranty.
