Running at 4700MHz with CL19-19-19-39 latency at 1.45V, the new G.Skill Trident Z is the first RGB-enabled kit to run at such high frequency. G.Skill was quite keen to note that ever since the release of the DDR4-4266 Trident Z RGB memory kit series back at the end of 2016, the company has aimed to push the frequency even further.

It is worth noting that G.Skill really managed to keep tight latency settings and is still pulling more from those Samsung DDR4 B-die ICs.

The memory kit has already been validated and tested on MSI Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard and Intel Core i7-8700K CPU.

Unfortunately, we do not have any precise details regarding the availability date or the price but G.Skill did note that it will be available sometime in Q2 2018.
