Featuring the same 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with QHD (2560x1440) resolution, the new ZTE Axon 7s should get a decent performance boost from the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC. While not specifically detailed, it is believed that it will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Unfortunately, it appears that nothing else has changed, which is not necessarily a bad thing since Axon 7 already had some decent features. It still comes with a 20-megapixel rear camera and most likely the same stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos. It runs on Android 7.1 OS with ZTE's own MiFavor UI on top of it and will probably use the same 3250mAh battery.
ZTE also briefly mentioned an upgraded version of the Axon 7 Max as well as cut the price of the older Axon 7 down to US $329.99, at least in some regions.
Hopefully, we will get more details about the ZTE Axon 7s soon, as it certainly looks like a decent smartphone at that price point.
