According to Xiaomi's official post, originally caught by mydrivers.com site, all three versions of the Mi 8 were sold out almost straightaway. This includes the standard Mi 8 coming in 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage options. This is just the first sale as the company already announced the next one for June 12th. Unfortunately, the company did not reveal the size of the first batch.
In case you missed it, we already wrote about Xiaomi's latest Mi 8 flagship and while it comes with the infamous notch on the screen, it also has an attractive price for a smartphone with a 6.21-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 845 SoC, a good dual-camera setup and plenty of other features.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 should soon come to India, which is a big market, as well as European markets like Spain, Italy, France, Russia and others, and it will probably sell well in those regions as well. Xiaomi should also do well with the cheaper Mi 8 SE with Snapdragon 710 SoC as well as the special Explorer Edition, which also includes an in-display fingerprint reader from Synaptics and other goodies.
