In case you missed it, the ROG Phone 9 came with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which should provide much more performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the new ROG Phone 9 FE. Thankfully, it will keep all the other specifications, including the 6.78-inch OLED display with 2800x1080 resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz, 12GB of LPDDR5X memory, 256GB of storage, and the same camera system with 50MP main sensor, 12MP wide angle, and 5MP macro camera, and a 32MP front camera.
The performance should be around 20-30 percent slower compared to the ROG Phone 9. Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any information regarding the price or the availability date.
