The star of the G.Skill's showcase was definitely the highest clocked Trident Z RGB 16GB (2x8GB) dual-channel kit running at 5066MHz. Based on Samsung's 8Gb ICs, and with latencies set at CL 21-26-26-54, the kit was happily running on MSI's Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard with Intel Core i7-8700K.
The second interesting kit was the 16GB DDR4-4800 dual-channel kit with tighter latencies set at CL17-17-17-37, which is the perfect combination of frequency and timing according to G.Skill.
G.Skill also unveiled the fastest 32GB memory kit with four 8GB modules which still retains tight CL18-18-18-38 latency.
G.Skill also brought two SO-DIMM form-factor kits, which pack quite a punch. These include the quad-channel Ripjaws 32GB DDR4-4200 kit with CL18-18-18-38 latency, aimed at mini-ITX builds, which was running on ASRock's X299-ITX/ac motherboard with Core i9-7940X CPU, and the 16GB dual-channel DDR4-3600 SO-DIMM kit with CL18-18-18-43 latency used on Intel NUC system and aimed at other SFF systems.
And G.Skill showed a 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-4000 kit aimed to be used on the AMD X470 platform.
All of these kits should be coming to retail/e-tail soon and some are already available.
