The Sabrent Rocket Battleship was teased back in January and now it appears as we could see it soon. As detailed, the Sabrent Rocket Battleship SSD, which is a combination of the HighPoint SSD 7540 PCIe Gen4 x16 8-Port NVMe RAID Controller and up to eight Sabrent SSDs, offers incredible versatility, capable of offering unprecedented storage capacity with Sabrent Rocket Q4 or Rocket Q PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs or high performance when paired up with Rocket 4 Plus SSDs.
Highpoint actually offers two different solutions based on its FnL (Fast n' Little) NVMe AIC RAID card, the Pro Class Solutions, based on Samsung's 970 and 980 PRO series NVMe PCIe SSDs, as well as the ELITE Class Solutions, which offers maximum storage capacity and versatility, which is based on Sabrent's Rocket Series NVMe PCIe SSDs.
The Sabrent RocketQ Battleship is, as its name suggests, based on Sabrent's Rocket Q series SSDs, offering up to 64TB of capacity. Unfortunately, there is are no details about the price, which depends on the actual SSDs used, or the availability date, as it is listed as coming soon on HighPoint's website.
