With the recent Playstation 5 beta firmware update it is possible to upgrade the SSD storage, so it does not come as a surprise that SSD makers are gunning for that piece of the market.
In the official Youtube video, Sabrent has showcased a dedicated PS5 SSD heatsink which is meant to replace Sony's original metal cover for the SSD, providing both protection as well as a larger heatsink.
When combined with Sabrent's Rocket 4 Plus SSD, it could be one of the fastest options for upgrading the Playstation 5 console. Sabrent has recently announced that the 8TB version of the Rocket 4 Plus SSD should be available soon.
Sabrent's Rocket 4 Plus series is currently selling over at Amazon.com.
