As announced earlier, Intel Meteor Lake will launch for notebooks on December 14th, and now, Michelle Johnston Holthaus, Intel Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Client Computing Group, has confirmed in an interview with PCWorld.com that desktop parts will be indeed launching in 2024.

This puts Intel in a rather awkward position as the Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs are expected to launch in early Q1, and the company has a narrow window before the rumored Arrow Lake-S comes into play.
Of course, Intel might push the Arrow Lake back a bit, or it will launch as the 2nd Gen Ultra series for notebooks in 2024, which means that Meteor Lake-S will fill the gap before we see the Arrow Lake for desktops in 2025.
