The lineup, which ranges from a 2-core/4-thread Intel Processor 300 and 4-core/8-thread Core i3-14100, all the way up to 24-core/32-thread (8 P-cores/16 E-cores) Core i9-14900, is pretty much a refresh of the 13th gen Raptor Lake CPUs launched back in 2022, but are still well optimized to bring certain improvements. These support both Intel 600- and 700-series motherboards, as well as support up to 192GB of DDR5-5600/DDR4-3200 memory, same PCIe 5.0/4.0 lane allocation, and mostly come with 65W TDP, with peak max turbo power of up to 219W.

Intel also launched four F-series SKUs without integrated graphics, as well as a full lineup of T-series low-power versions with 35W TDP.

The most interesting is probably the Core i9-14900 and the mid-range Core i5 lineup, including the Core i5-14400, but bear in mind that we are looking at just a slight boost in clocks compared to the previous generation, making the Intel 13th gen lineup even more attractive.

Performance-wise, even Intel is showing a marginal performance increase compared to the previous generation, but we'll wait for other benchmarks to show up before we get a clearer picture.
