Oracle's relentless licensing changes are pushing organisations into the open-saucy arms of openjdk, according to a new survey.

Apparently users wanted it

The Oracle JDK is available free of charge for production use again under a new Oracle No-Fee Terms and Conditions license.

Free is not a good deal

Oracle this week made Oracle JDK “available for free,” for personal, commercial and production use, including quarterly security updates, for a limited time.
