Apple schedules WWDC 2025 for June 9

by on26 March 2025

iOS, iPadOS, and macOS updates coming

Apple has announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference 2025 will take place from June 9th to June 13th and will once again include the big keynote, held at Apple Park, as well as online sessions for developers.

As expected, we won't see any hardware announcements, as WWDC is reserved for big updates to software platforms, so new versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS are coming. Apple will probably go for the more transparent design for its software platforms, something we have seen on the visionOS and which can be seen on the WWDC 25 announcement, so it would be a major redesign on the software side.

As said, in addition to the main keynote, Apple is focusing on developers with various lab sessions. As always, tickets are limited and probably cost an arm and a leg.
