This 27-inch gaming-grade monitor has a refresh-rate of 165 Hz, and is bolstered by NVidia G-Sync.
What is eye-catching is that it has a near frame-less design, which Acer appropriately has dubbed "Zero Frame Design."
It also has a feature-rich red+black stand that allows height, tilt, swivel, and rotation. The XB271HU spec is pretty interesting too. There is an IPS display panel with WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, 4 ms response time, and 350 cd/m² maximum brightness.
Along with the XB271HU, Acer also introduced the XB271HK, which is an XB271HU with a 4K Ultra HD IPS panel that does 60 Hz, instead of the 165 Hz WQHD panel. This panel offers 4 ms response time, 300 cd/m² maximum brightness. Both displays feature G-SYNC adaptive-sync tech, and take input from DisplayPort 1.2 connectors.
The XB271HU is priced at $799, and the XB271HK at $899.
