GeForce RTX 3090 Super is a pimped out ride

10752 CUDA cores

A hardware leaker claims that Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3090 is about to be overthrown by the GeForce RTX 3090 Super with 10752 CUDA cores.

Software leaker Greymon has tweated that the GeForce RTX 3090 Super not only has 10752 CUDA cores, it will have a TDP of 400W+.

If this is true, then the new GeForce RTX 3090 Super with RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 Ti are based upon the GA102 silicon but the new model is a full implementation of the tech. With 10752 CUDA cores the new GeForce RTX 3090 Super matches the Nvidia RTX A6000 professional workstation graphics card, launched last October.

Actually, the increase in CUDA cores is only 2.4 percent up from the RTX 3090 and the power hike is probably the most important thing. However this is a maxed-out 'halo product'.

VideoCardz reckons the GeForce RTX 3090 Super may be part of a wider Super refresh that has been prepared for Q1 2022, to help reaffirm Nvidia's position in the consumer GPU market when Intel Arc Alchemist arrives.
