In addition to the new Zen parts and the Ryzen 9000 series processors, AMD has also announced two new Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 SKUs for the now 8-year-old socket AM4, the Ryzen 9 5900XT and the Ryzen 7 5800XT, both launching next month.

Keeping the AM4 socket alive
In addition to announcing new AM5 processors, AMD is obviously keen to keep the AM4 socket alive, extending support for the socket well through the year. At a dedicated event in China, AMD unveiled both the Ryzen 8000F series SKUs, that will come with disabled integrated graphics, as well as the new Ryzen 5000 XT series SKUs.
